You Can Have Labor Day, Every Day!

“28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good-not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing,

Labor Day. I must say its very interesting.

If you love history like me, click here
to read an article that I found from
about how Labor Day was started.

In reading the history, I realized that
before there is a victory or celebration,
there is turmoil, labor, or challenge.

We need labor and challenge, to keep
us going. Granted, before
Grandma Adam and Eve sinned, labor was
sure a lot sweeter than after.

While you are waiting for the grill to heat up
or getting ready to go to the beach, or
deciding what you are going to do, I want you
to consider something.
Christ let us know that we can have Labor Day
every day. Isn’t that wonderful?!

I’ve shared with you over the last few months
how God has me in this letting go and declutter season.
I had no idea, how much chaos and challenge you have
to endure to actually get the final results for decluttering.

Letting go is more about making a mental and heart decision and giving
the results or yielding to the Master, Our Lord and Savior.

So if you are feeling distressed, stressed, discouraged,
frustrated, afraid, overwhelmed, or challenged about
anything large or small, you just have to make a decision
that you are going to trust God with your situation.

You have to decide that you are just going to do what you
can and trust God to either give you the wisdom, send
someone to help you or work it out Himself. In His own
time and own way. When you do that, ahhhh, you can
just relax. Knowing that He’s got this!

I shared with you many times how God gave me a vision
years ago (about 13 or 14 years now), and we haven’t
arrived yet.

In fact to make sure I

never forgot it, He gave it to me every

night around 11:30pm and it would end around 2:30pm.
[Don’t ask me why the specific time, I have no idea]
This happened for 2 weeks, until I told Him to stop because
I needed to sleep.

We are getting closer to my vision, but I will tell you
I had no idea, that it was going to be this challenging.
There have been times when I asked God if I missed Him,
or if am I doing something wrong. Recently, I was so worn
out that I told God I am done.

I think He was pleased with that decision.
Now He can do things His way, even though
it may not make any logical sense to me.
Well my passion and vision is still burning in my heart as it
has been but the difference is I’m not laboring (which is hard
for me because I don’t like feeling like I’m being lazy!)
What He’s doing in me is He’s having me rest from what
I thought was what I needed to do to build this business.
Traditional ways.

Years ago I knew that God was going to do this in such
a way that NO ONE would be able to get the glory except Him.
I knew it cognitively but I didn’t realize spiritually what that
really meant.
So I’m finally just spending more time enjoying the little things.

That means being more grateful.

Finding out more about myself. Planning and working my plan but with inspired action which is less stressful and more strategic.
I’m letting Him take care of the challenges. Not stressing about
anything. I’m letting Him guide me and if I’m doing something wrong
He’ll let me know. [its nice not having to labor to be perfect :-)]

I’m attracting the clients that I want to attract.
And I’m allowing Him to take care of my needs as He wants to do it.
I’ve decided to just rest in all of it.
And it’s great. I feel like a kid in a candy store.

I don’t have to worry about anything.
If a bill needs to be paid.
Either the income is going to come or
I’m going to have favor or a miracle.
It’s that simple.
I’m enjoying this continuous Labor Day right now.
I know it is not forever, but it is where God
needs me right now, so that He can rejuvenate my
soul, and pour His wisdom into me, so then I
can turn around and pour it into you.
And don’t get me wrong, I still have to work diligently
once He shows me something.  But I’m using
more wisdom and discernment. And I’ve learned
when I don’t “hear” His direction, follow wisdom.
So as you celebrate Labor Day today,
I want you to take a moment to stop and
do the following.

1. Make a list of all the things that you have been stressing about.
2. Pick one from the list (start with a small one to get used to the feeling)
and decide that you are going to stop stressing and start trusting God.
3. Take a moment to stop and feel how your body and mind
feels now that you have given that burden to God and you
are no longer laboring in it.
4. Rest, relax and enjoy that feeling. If God needs you to “do”
something, He’ll tell you or move on your heart to do it.
ohhh…be sure to share with me what you let go off, and how
it made you feel.

Enjoy this Labor Day today (and beyond) 🙂
